Pulaski County

History

In the Upper Coastal Plains Region of Georgia, Pulaski County was formed in 1808 from Laurens County. Its county seat, Hawkinsville, is on US-129 about 130 miles SSE of Atlanta. Pulaski is bordered by the counties of Houston, Bleckley, Dodge, Wilcox and Dooly.
