     Born in Athens, GA, on September 7, 1924, Mrs. Quinton was a daughter of the late George W. Scarbrough and Cora Seagraves Scarbrough. She was retired from Stone Manufacturing Co. in Greenville, SC and was of the Baptist Faith.
     She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Culpepper of Anderson; sister, Mary Frances Noel of North Augusta, SC; grandchildren, Gerald Michael Culpepper, Jr., Cheryl Billings, Stephen Culpepper and Glenn Culpepper and seven great-grandchildren, Anna, M.J., Chase, Emma Kathryn, and Austin Culpepper, Caitlin Billings and Holley Junkins.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael O. Renaud, brothers G.B., Guy, and James Scarbrough and sisters, Golden Martin and Dot Hunter.
     The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 2, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of a granddaughter, Cheryl Billings, 341 Sivnksty Road, Starr, SC. Flowers are optional. Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 521 North McDuffie Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
