(This is the first reference to Henry Culpepper Jr. in Lower Norfolk County records.) 
Immigration*1673 He immigrated in 1673 to Anne Arundel Co., Maryland; From James White: 'In The Early Settlers of Maryland is the entry for Bartholomew Ingobritson for headrights. Record :

"Immigrated in 1673 with his wife and six children. Of Anne Arundell County."

His wife was named Ann, and his children were Ann, Bartholomew, Dorcas, Dorothy, Hance, and Sarah.

This fits in well with my theory that John White moved to Maryland. Perhaps you will find it helpful in identifying him. Hance is also spelled Hans in Maryland records which seems to indicate to me an origin other than English.'

Ingolbritson seems to have connections to both the White and Culpepper families in early Lower Norfolk.2 
Biography* Lower Norfolk Court, 16 Feb. 1665. Upon the petition of Susan White Lttrs of Administration is granted unto her of ye estate of Thomas White her late deceased husband. She putting in security according to Act in that case provided. Bartholomew Ingelbretson & Thomas Smith are security for the above sd. Susan White wid according to Acts:
