Obituary*11 Mar 2008 Services for Paul B. Burch, age 71 of Columbia, will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2008, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Larry Adkins officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.

Mr. Burch was born to the union of Phinas Burl and Belle Padgett Burch on February 28, 1937 in Sterlington, LA and passed away Monday, March 10, 2008 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Frances McDonald Burch, his son Jimmy Culpepper, and his grandson, Jason Graham.

Survivors include his sons; Wesley Burch and his wife Cindy of Grayson, Billy Culpepper of Hebert, Ronnie Culpepper and his wife, Elaine of Slidell, and Bobby Dale Culpepper of Hebert, his daughters; Susie Culpepper of Grayson, Debbie Ann Taylor and her husband, Robbie of Hebert, Elizabeth Brady and her husband, Ricky of Slidell, also his children from a previous marriage, Paul B. Burch, Jr., Cheryl Gay Burch, and BB Burch, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Burch, Billy Culpepper, Ronnie Culpepper, Robbie Taylor, Tyler Warren, and Daniel May. Honorary pallbearers are Luther Howard, Gavin Burch, Matt Knight, and Wade Knight.3 
Burial*12 Mar 2008 His body was interred on 12 Mar 2008 at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, Caldwell Parish, Louisiana.3

Gig Harbor, Wash. — Lucille (Harris) Stephens, born 3/8/1927, passed into the gates of Heaven and into the arms of the Lord on 9/27/2006. Lucy was born in Almond, Alabama to Benjamin and Lilly Harris. She met and married Steve, the love of her life, on April 18, 1953, in Georgia. They began a journey traveling the world with the military while raising four children. They settled in Gig Harbor, in 1968, and fell in love with the Northwest. Lucy's joys in life were her family. She was a devoted wife and mother. She especially enjoyed being a grandma to her seven grandchildren. She maintained a strong faith in God and a sense of southern hospitality throughout her life. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Steve, her parents, her sisters LaVerne and Louise, and her brother, Ben. She is survived by her children, David (Cherie), Lynn (Mark), Janet, and Kathy (Vince). Also surviving are her grandchildren, Marci, Staci, Matthew, Meagan, John, Mindy, and Carly; her brother Herb (Pat) Harris; and many nieces and nephews. Interment, Haven of Rest Memorial Park, Gig Harbor, Wash. Remembrances may be made in her name to National Stroke Association at stroke.org.
