Miss Culpepper was a retired Civil Service Employee of Fort Gordon, a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, and retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Golden Glow Chapter #76, the Daughters of the American Revolution Martintown Road Chapter, the United Daughters of the Confederacy Berry Benson Chapter #2084, the Jesse C. Lynch American Legion Post #71, and the Jessamine Garden Club. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 to 7. Memorials may be made to the Tamassee DAR School, P.O. Box 8, Tamassee, S.C. 29686. Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home of North Augusta in charge of arrangements (803-278-1181).3
